At AOTS we devise treatment programs focused on our clients’ goals....no matter what they may be. For some it’s using a knife and fork, for some it’s holding a glass and for some....it’s flipping the bird!

For those of you that find flipping the bird offensive, keep scrolling, but our clients tell us that flipping the bird with their affected hand is one goal they would really like to achieve….and who are we to say no???

For this very special objective we have developed a very special program….

Step 1: Amadeo Continuous Passive Movement (CPM)
Step 2: Amadeo isolated finger CPM
Step 3: Amadeo Assistive Therapy isolated finger movement
Step 4: Amadeo isolated finger games
Step 5, 6 & 7: Practice, Practice, Practice
Step 8: Bird Off with someone else who has the same goal
Step 9: Functional Practice and greeting others by giving them the bird
Step 10: The Ultimate Bird Off - being put on the spot in a room full of people that want you to succeed!!
