Congratulations on your 10 years of service, Alina!!

We asked our longest standing team member a few questions to reflect on her 10 years:

What's your best memory from a team event?

We had a team celebration dinner, and so surprised when a stretch hummer turned up after dinner to take us into Rod Laver to see ROBBIE WILLIAMS!!!! It was amazing!

What's changed the most for you?

When I first started, we had only 7 office staff - now, we have 28!!

If your 10 years here were a movie title, what would it be?

Working 9 to 5 or The Office (TV Show)

How do you describe the Dovida team?

Caring, teamwork & learning - the best part of working with our team is the genuine care that we pass on to our clients from all team members!

The Circle of Care Community Expo for Dying to Know Day took place on Wednesday this week - we're so proud and grateful for every single person who took part or attended on the day.

Thank you just doesn't seem enough!!

Feedback like this tells us we achieved exactly what we set out to do:

"Thank you very much for yesterday's event. I really learnt a lot from the talks and from the display tables. For many confronting topics, I was amazed by how many subjects were covered and are very relevant to my own life without even thinking about it. I especially liked the forum after lunch and felt many emotions while the lovely group were telling us their true to life experiences.
Another joy from the day was winning the hamper. Such a lovely surprise. I love it all very much. Thank you for providing such a fabulous day and opening my mind to a very important part of our world. I definitely would recommend attending your next event to anyone considering it. Creative Connections in the Community🎨

Today marked the first time that Dovida has taken our client art class on the road, joining the wonderful participants of the Ringwood RSL Carers Support Group for a beautiful morning of reflection, connection and artistic inspiration.

A special thank you to Ally for guiding the session and inspiring everyone to express themselves through art. ❤

And what a treat it was to enjoy the fabulous catering, thoughtfully prepared by Lyn with a delightful Bastille Day theme. 🇫🇷

We look forward to many more opportunities to share our art program beyond our usual walls, and thank you Lyn for welcoming us 💕
