Last Wednesday our Melbourne Inner North Caregivers came together to launch Dovida’s values:

❤️ Lead with your Heart
❤️ Care with Compassion
❤️ Make a Difference

We reflected on our story, who we are, what matters to us and what we want to achieve together. Everyone added ideas to our values boards, exploring what these values look like in our everyday work with clients, families and colleagues

It was a great opportunity to celebrate what we do well and discuss how we want to grow as a team.

Thank you to everyone for your thoughtful contributions.

Personal care is changing from 1 October, and it's good news for many older people receiving Support at Home ❤️ Read more:

From 1 October 2026, personal care under Support at Home will no longer carry a participant contribution for eligible participants.

Congratulations to our Caregiver of the Quarter! From July to September 2026, we celebrate and congratulate Marie.

Marie has been supporting our clients for a number of years and has built very strong relationships with many of them during her time with us.

Marie is extremely experienced, she is often praised by clients for her patience and kindness. She uses her initiative and always goes the extra mile. Marie is reliable and consistent, always providing clients with the highest level of understanding and care.

Marie is extremely responsive and is always happy to help out with last minute services, especially for our particular Italian clients!

The Dovida Melbourne Inner North office is very lucky to you have you onboard Marie, thanks for everything you do.

Congratulations to our Above and Beyond Caregiver! From July to September 2026, we celebrate and congratulate Sabina.

Sabina has been providing care for Dovida clients for just over a year and has built strong, trusting relationships with those she supports. Her strong relationships were clear when she recently returned from leave, with the clients she regularly supports being very excited to have her back.

Sabina is dedicated, reliable and always willing to make herself available when she can, balancing work alongside studies.

Thanks for everything you do Sabina, we are lucky to have you as part of the Dovida Melbourne Inner North team.

At last week’s Quarterly Caregiver meeting, the Melbourne Inner North office warmly welcomed Anthony Tran, Lead Physiotherapist from Nimbus. Anthony gave an informative and interactive presentation on falls prevention and safe mobility.

This was a great example of how partnerships with our Associated Providers can deliver additional education to our team of dedicated and passionate Caregivers.

On Friday 7th August, the Dovida Victorian family came together at RACV City Club to celebrate the people who make Dovida what it is. From heartfelt speeches to some serious Brain of Dovida rivalry and plenty of time on the dancefloor, it was a night to remember.

Last month, Clients, Caregivers and a few Key Players attended our first client event at Windy Hill in Essendon.

They were entertained by Marg Dennis at a Morning Melodies Christmas in July show.

Everyone was treated to morning tea, singing, dancing and an all-round enjoyable morning.
