Through traditional Chinese pulse reading and palpation
I am able to discover issues that the body is holding. I believe that prevention is more desirable than treating the effect. However I am able to help alleviate painful and discomforting
physical and emotional conditions through acupuncture. Acupuncture is able to provide highly effective relief for many physical and emotional concerns. By

applying needles in specific points along the body’s meridian,
a clearing of energy blocks occurs. This leads to a balancing of the energies flowing through the body’s meridians,
thus achieving a healthy status in body and mind. The services we also provide

One tongue photo brought me across oceans to England, to celebrate Professor Yin Hongchun's 10-year milestone in modern tongue diagnosis.

From Shandong to London, over two decades of overseas practice, Professor Yin has transformed ancient TCM "inspection" into a visual, teachable, and inheritable modern system—turning tongue images into a bridge between Eastern and Western medicine. At the celebration, seeing practitioners from around the world united by tongue diagnosis, I felt the true weight and warmth of his work.

Deeply grateful to Professor Yin—not only for showing me the universe within a tongue image, but for demonstrating how one healer can make TCM wisdom visible, understandable, and verifiable to the world. ☺️

I find myself again so as you. Cheers 🥂

I finally understand—nothing was wrong with my faith.
I simply placed my sense of safety in a place it could not stay.

For a long time, I believed that if two people shared the same faith,
they would share the same values,
and with the same values,
they would love in the same way,
communicate in the same way,
and face conflicts with the same courage.

I thought that meant no cold wars,
no silence,
no avoidance,
no hurt.

But one day, I realized something quietly, painfully true:

It wasn’t faith that failed me—
it was the assumption I built my heart upon.

Having the same faith does not mean having the same behavior.
Faith can teach someone what love is,
but maturity decides how they choose to love.

A mature heart communicates.
A mature heart takes responsibility.
A mature heart faces conflict with honesty and care.
A mature heart respects the beliefs of both people.

An immature heart may still choose silence,
coldness,
avoidance,
or denial—even with the same faith.

And none of those choices were mine to carry.

His silence was his choice.
His avoidance was his choice.
His refusal to communicate was his choice.
They were never my responsibility.

I once thought I wanted someone who shared my faith.
But now I know what I truly long for is someone who is willing to grow,
willing to talk,
willing to stay present,
willing to cherish what we build together.

I never wanted someone I had to change.
I wanted someone who already understood how to hold a relationship with care.

This experience didn’t take away my ability to love.
It helped me see more clearly what real love looks like—
not shared beliefs,
but consistent actions.

I’ve learned to stop placing hope in changing someone else,
and to place strength in my own choices.

In my next relationship, I won’t just ask,
“Do we share the same faith?”

I will ask myself,
“Is this person mature?
Do they communicate?
Do they take responsibility?
Do their actions align with their words?”

Because real love is not spoken—it is lived.

I didn’t lose anyone.
I found myself again.

And may the future me never shrink out of fear of losing someone,
but choose love that is mutual, respectful, gentle, and growing—
because I finally understand my own worth.

What shall we do when your children are sick, between 1-4 years old?

Clinical Presentation

Today I saw a 2.6-year-old girl who had experienced multiple hospital visits before February 2026 then managed by Traditional Chinese Medicine, She presented with a temperature of 39°C but appeared well overall—active, alert, and cheerful—with only a dry cough. Her tongue had a white coating across the middle and back, with a slight pink-red colour at the front.

Her bowels had not opened the previous day. She woke during the night but was able to settle back to sleep easily.

Assessment

During the assessment, I used a infrared thermometer to check the Da Zhui Acupoint,GV14 located at C7-T1 area and recorded a temperature of 39°C. Her hands were warm but not hot, which suggested she may have been overdressed, so I recommended removing some clothing layers.

When checking the garment label, we found that although the outer fabric was cotton, the inner layer contained polyester. Her mother was surprised, having assumed the expensive garment was made entirely of cotton.

This provided an opportunity to discuss how cost does not always reflect suitability. Young children, particularly between 1 and 4 years of age, are still developing temperature regulation, and synthetic fabrics such as polyester may reduce breathability and contribute to discomfort during a fever.

Interventions

For comfort, we removed the extra clothing layers and applied a small amount of orange water spray and gold cream along the du meridian. Over the following minutes, she appeared more comfortable and her temperature decreased.

Once her temperature had reduced, I provided gentle lung support with cooling herbs in accordance with my clinical approach. This was intended to support comfort and wellbeing and should not be interpreted as treatment for fever or infection.

Outcome

By the end of the visit, her temperature measured 36.6°C. She remained comfortable, alert, and settled throughout. While the reduction in temperature was observed during the session, the contributing factors clothes can be determined.

An encouraging outcome was the trust built with her mother, who was eager to learn and became increasingly confident in observing her child’s tongue, symptoms, and overall wellbeing.

Parent Education

Key reminders for parents:

• Choose breathable natural fibres, especially cotton, for young children.
• Check fabric composition carefully, including inner layers.
• Avoid overdressing children during a fever.
• Observe the child’s energy, breathing, comfort, and overall appearance
• Thermometer reading is to assist parents to know if children has been overdressing.
• Small observations can provide valuable insights.

These fever-management suggestions are general educational information only showing how preventative interventions from Traditional Chinese medicine perspective with nursing training background.

Seek prompt medical assessment if a child appears seriously unwell, has difficulty breathing, shows signs of dehydration, is unusually drowsy, or if you have any concerns about their condition.

Key Takeaways

This case highlighted the importance of careful observation and considering simple factors, such as clothing choices, that may affect a child’s comfort during illness. Appropriate clothing, attention to the whole child rather than the fever alone, and ongoing parent education can support wellbeing, while recognising that symptom and temperature changes may occur for many reasons.

In 2004, during my nursing training in Kilmore hospital, I cared for a terminally ill man from the former Yugoslavia. He was alone in Australia, and I apologized to him for not knowing his country or his history. I told him I hoped God would accompany him on the rest of his journey.

For five days, I provided comfort care: washing him with fennel water, offering fluids, and singing Amazing Grace. He couldn’t speak my language, but when I sang, he shed a tear — a reminder that connection goes beyond words.

Although he had refused food and drink before, I continued to offer respectfully.
Refusal does not remove a patient’s right to choose.
Comfort care includes preserving autonomy.

He regained strength, lived another three months, and even walked again before passing.

This experience shaped my understanding of nursing and future of belief in life.

End‑of‑life care is not about giving up.
It is about dignity, presence, and honoring the person until their final moment.

You can always recover to the state you want. You do not give up. I will not give up on you. I allow you to walk to the place or depart where you want and when you want. No one push you. Amen.🙏 @

Focus on your goals like a professional, but remember that health is not built through pressure alone.

Wellness is often the repetition of simple practices: good lifestyle habits, stress regulation, proper rest, emotional balance, and consistency.

Pregnancy can be similar.

After listening to many TCM professors discuss infertility cases — including patients who had unsuccessful IVF journeys — one common pattern stood out to me:

when people gradually let go of perfectionism, received support through acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, emotional care, and healthier daily rhythms, the body often responded differently.

Sometimes healing begins not when we push harder, but when the nervous system finally feels safe enough to heal.
