✨ Happy International Self-Care Day! ✨

Today is a reminder that looking after yourself isn't a luxury but an essential part of staying healthy, happy and able to do the things you love. 💙

We asked our Boosters what self-care looks like for them, and their answers are a great reminder that self-care is different for everyone. Whether it's moving your body, spending time outdoors, reading a book, catching up with friends, or simply taking a moment to slow down, every little bit counts.

What's your favourite way to practise self-care? Let us know in the comments! 👇

Living with diabetes isn't just about medication. Regular movement is one of the most powerful tools for managing your health.

Regular exercise can help:
💪 Improve your body's response to insulin
🩸 Support blood sugar levels
❤️ Improve heart health
⚖️ Maintain a healthy weight
😊 Increase energy and improve overall wellbeing

Physiotherapists are an important part of the healthcare team, helping people exercise safely and with confidence. We work with you to develop personalised exercise plans based on your goals, current fitness, and any injuries or health conditions.

Whether you prefer a tailored home or gym program, or the support of a supervised group setting, we're here to help. Our physiotherapist-led Clinical Exercise Classes provide expert guidance in a safe environment, helping you build strength, improve fitness, and make regular exercise a sustainable part of managing your diabetes.

This National Diabetes Week, remember that every step, stretch and strength session counts.

Happy 3 Year Boostiversary Jordan! 💙

Today we’re celebrating 3 incredible years of Jordan being part of the Boost family!

Jordan is the kind of teammate every workplace dreams of. Never too busy to jump in and help wherever he’s needed. No matter what’s going on, you can count on him to show up with calm, steady support and a “got it sorted” attitude.

Alongside being dependable and patient focused, Jordy is the one who keeps the energy light, brings the laughs when we need them most, and reminds us not to take things too seriously.

Jordan, thank you for 3 amazing years of incredible teamwork.
We’re so lucky to have you as part of Boost, here’s to many more years ahead! 💙🙌

Some achievements go far beyond the finish line🏅

A huge congratulations to our incredible patient, Curtis, on completing 52 marathons in 52 weeks (and ultimately 58 marathons in 53 weeks after continuing with the 777 challenge).

Over 18 months, Curtis covered an incredible 3,764 km through training and races, while raising more than $52,000 for Bravehearts to help protect children and support survivors of child sexual abuse.

To finish his final marathon at a Bravehearts event, surrounded by the friends, family, survivors and supporters who inspired the journey from the very beginning, made the achievement even more meaningful.

We’re incredibly proud to have supported Curtis throughout this journey. His commitment, resilience and purpose have been nothing short of inspiring, and it’s been a privilege to play a small part in helping him keep moving towards such an important goal.

Congratulations Curtis. What an extraordinary achievement 💜🩵👏
