"How are you really doing?"
Sometimes it's the simplest question, but it can open the door to an important conversation.

Pregnancy and becoming a parent can bring enormous happiness, but it can also come with worry, exhaustion, uncertainty and emotions that can feel difficult to talk about.

If you're pregnant or have recently welcomed a baby and you're struggling, please don't feel that you have to put on a brave face.

Talk to someone you trust. Tell your healthcare provider. Ask for help.

Also, if someone you care about has recently become a parent, check in with them too. Ask how they are doing, not just how the baby is.

Sometimes knowing that someone is willing to listen can make all the difference. 🤍

It's amazing how much can change in just a few short weeks.

Seeing families return after welcoming their baby into the world is always a highlight. Watching little personalities begin to shine and parents grow in confidence is incredibly special.

It was so lovely to see beautiful baby Leora again with mum Kishani and dad Nimesh.

Thank you for letting me be part of such a memorable chapter in your lives. Wishing you many happy moments as you enjoy every milestone ahead.

They don't carry the baby, but they carry so much. 🤍

The appointments.
The questions.
The anticipation.
The late night conversations.
The hand to hold during labour.
The first time they meet their baby.
Becoming a dad is a journey too.
To all the dads and partners, I have had the privilege of meeting through my work, today is a little reminder that your support matters more than you may realise.

Happy Father's Day.

You don't have to figure everything out on your own.

Becoming a parent comes with a lot of joy, but it also comes with plenty of questions. Please don't ever feel like you need to have all the answers.

Every family is different, and there is no one size fits all approach. Asking for support is never a sign of failure. It's part of caring for yourself, so you can care for your baby.

The most important thing is that you both feel supported every step of the way.

Feeling tired has become so normal that many women simply accept it as part of life.

Between work, raising a family and everything else life throws at us, it's easy to assume constant exhaustion is just something to live with.

The reality is that ongoing fatigue can sometimes be your body trying to tell you something. Heavy periods, iron deficiency, thyroid conditions, hormonal changes and poor quality sleep can all contribute to feeling run down.

If you're constantly exhausted or you've noticed a change in your energy levels, it's worth having a conversation with your doctor. Understanding the cause is the first step towards feeling like yourself again.

Every pregnancy is a journey.

It's filled with excitement, questions, milestones and moments you'll never forget. One day you're hearing that tiny heartbeat for the first time, and before you know it, you're holding your baby in your arms.

Seeing families return with their little ones is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

It was so lovely to see beautiful Inarah again, born on 29 May, visiting with mum Shihana and dad Umar.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey into parenthood. It has been a privilege to care for you and I wish your family a lifetime of love, laughter and beautiful memories together.

Thinking about starting a family?

Pre pregnancy counselling is not just for those who are struggling. It is for anyone who wants to feel informed, prepared and supported before taking that next step.

A simple conversation can help you understand your health, your options and what to expect so you can move forward with confidence.

If you are planning ahead or simply have questions, you are always welcome to reach out or book a pre pregnancy consultation with me. 🤍

“Why do I p*e so much during pregnancy?"
It's one of the questions I hear all the time and the answer is actually quite interesting!

If you've found yourself planning every outing around the nearest bathroom, you're certainly not alone.

Listen to the reel to find out why!

The day your baby is born isn't the finish line, it's the beginning of a whole new chapter. 🤍

The first 12 weeks after birth are often called the fourth trimester, a time when both you and your baby are adjusting in ways you may not expect.

While your baby is getting used to the world around them, your body is recovering, your hormones are changing and you're settling into life as a new parent.

It can be beautiful, exhausting, emotional and incredibly rewarding, sometimes all in the same day.

In this carousel, I'm sharing what the fourth trimester is and why it's just as important to care for Mum as it is for baby.

Swipe through, save this post for later and remember, you don't have to have it all figured out. One day at a time is more than enough.
