As a Family therapist I work mainly from a systemic approach but view each family and its members as unique and work with them on that basis. My background is nursing but along the way I wanted to change direction and completed a Bachelor in Human Services and a Graduate Diploma in Family therapy and am currently a clinical member of the Australian Association of Family Therapists. or many years as an outreach worker and gained a lot of experience along the way. I would like to use that experience and knowledge to work as a Family therapist in my own practice.

Thinking of the pandemic and what that has meant for families. Children being home schooled, parents needing to be there for their children but still having to work to pay bills and mortgages. Businesses going bust and more. So what to do in this post pandemic stage. It’s a problem that faces us all in one way or another. Not sure what the answer is but here to help.
