Pregnant and managing seizures? 🧠
Epilepsy or neurological conditions can make pregnancy care a little more complex, but that does not mean your pregnancy is defined by risk.
Seizure control, medication review and close communication with your neurologist can all play an important role in keeping care safe and coordinated. If a seizure happens during pregnancy, it is important to let your neurologist and obstetrician know so medication levels and baby’s wellbeing can be reviewed if needed.
In high-risk pregnancy care, the focus is never just the diagnosis. It is the woman, the baby, and the right plan around them 🤍
