Tammy’s motivation to establish Tammy Lobato Wigs was formed from her frustration of the lack of knowledge of wigs and their care requirements, and lack of understanding held by people who merely sell the wigs without care. In her opinion online stores are even worse, pumping out wigs from a factory without a care in the world about who or why that person needs that wig. From Tammy’s experience, websites can often portray very different images to the wigs that are ultimately sent in the mail.

I know first hand the frustration and limitation of wearing wigs and the desperation to ensure it looks nice and natural every day. I know what chemotherapy patients and people with Alopecia are feeling and wanting from their wigs and want to ensure that they receive the full care and attention they deserve. The loss of one’s hair is a deeply emotional journey that requires face to face care in searching for hair loss solutions. Holistic needs are not met by simply filling in an order form online and waiting for the package to arrive and then hoping it will be alright.
