POSITION VACANT
Practice Manager
We are looking for someone who has experience working as a Practice Manager. This is a 4/5 day per week position.
It is desirable that this person has at least 1 years experience in the industry.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
• Patient management
• Liaising with doctors, nurses & allied health
• Medicare, DVA, Workers Comp and private billing
• Management of patient electronic records
• Accounts and receipts
• Overseeing cleanliness and restocking of the Practice
• Managing staff rosters
• Supervising and managing reception and nursing staff
• Organise and attend monthly practice meetings
• Manage and renew practice insurances, indemnities and leases
• Understanding of RACGP standards and Accreditation
Desirable skills and experience:
• Previous medical receptionist/practice management experience preferred or office/business management
• Excellent phone manner, customer service skills and initiative
• Excellent people management skills
• Knowledge of MBS item numbers is preferred
• Proactive in promoting and building up the practice
• Some experience using MYOB, PracSoft Medical Director
• Experience in practice accreditation
