Lower back pain is one of the leading causes of disability worldwide.

But here's what often gets missed: the lower back rarely hurts in isolation. Pelvic position, hip function, and spinal loading all interact, which is why a treatment focused only on the painful area often provides only temporary relief.

At Pure, we assess the full spine and pelvis before forming any assessment. Because where it hurts isn't always where the problem starts.

Can you build your resilience and learn to stay calmer under pressure?

The stresses of modern life affect some people more than others.

Could easing your anxiety be as simple as breathing more effectively?

Take these 3 tests now, then start to breathe more mindfully and deliberately, and retake the tests over several weeks.

Keep in mind that every slow, deep, diaphragmatic breath activates your vagus nerve and tells your nervous system you're safe.

Every pregnancy is different, but many pregnant women turn to chiropractic care to help manage discomfort and support mobility.

As Dr Celeste explains, it's inevitable that during pregnancy, your spine, pelvis, and muscles will feel some extra stress as your baby grows and your body changes.

Dr Kieran was once a patient.

He came to chiropractic through his own experience of pain and recovery, and that perspective shapes how he practises every day.

He understands what it's like to not know what's wrong, to feel like you've tried everything, and to finally find something that actually helps.

That's the care we try to bring to every person who walks through our door.

Two weeks. One habit. A measurable shift in how your body defends itself.

Cold plunging isn't just a recovery tool. It's a signal to your biology. With consistent exposure, your immune system ramps up, your cells get stronger antioxidant protection, and the low-grade inflammation behind fatigue and brain fog starts to clear.

The science is catching up to what cold water practitioners have known for years. Swipe to see what 14 days actually does inside your body.

🧊 Have you tried cold plunging? Drop your experience below.

Have you forgotten how to breathe? If so, your nervous system will be paying a price.

Even though you'll take around 20,000 breaths today, what if I told you most of them may be wrong?!

Every shallow, fast, chest breath signals threat. It keeps cortisol elevated. It keeps your body braced.

That's not ideal.

Trent Hamdjah
Integrative Soft Tissue & Recovery Therapist

Trent is passionate about helping people move better, recover well, and return to doing the things they love. His approach combines evidence-informed hands-on therapy with a genuine commitment to whole-person wellbeing.

With 20 years of experience across luxury day spas, multidisciplinary health clinics, rehabilitation settings, and elite sporting environments, Trent has developed a broad understanding of musculoskeletal health, recovery, injury management, and performance.

Every treatment is individually tailored and may incorporate remedial massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, advanced dry needling with TENs electrostimulation (where appropriate), cupping, lymphatic techniques, mobility coaching, and practical self-care strategies to support lasting results.

Trent’s own journey has profoundly shaped the practitioner he is today. Following severe spinal injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents and a period of professional burnout, he stepped away from clinical practice to focus on his own recovery.

Through years of rehabilitation supported by allied health professionals, movement therapy, mindfulness, and complementary wellness practices, he gained a deep appreciation for the importance of patience, resilience, and treating the whole person, not simply the symptoms.

This experience inspired Trent’s integrative philosophy, recognising that physical pain, stress, emotional wellbeing, and lifestyle are often interconnected.

"My goal isn't simply to help you recover from pain. It's to help you move with confidence, build resilience, and rediscover your capacity to live well."

Headaches are one of the most common conditions we work with – and one of the most misunderstood.

The WHO lists headache disorders as among the most prevalent neurological conditions worldwide. A significant proportion of recurring headaches originate from dysfunction in the upper cervical spine – the top two or three vertebrae of your neck.

These are called cervicogenic headaches, and they're frequently missed.

If your headaches are recurring, positional, or come with neck stiffness, it's worth a proper spinal assessment.

Most people know they should drink more water. Far fewer understand what's actually at stake when they don't.

Dehydration doesn't announce itself dramatically. It shows up as a 3pm slump, a stiff neck, a headache that won't quite shift, a mind that can't lock in.

Your brain is 75% water. Your spinal discs depend on fluid to function. And modern life - screens, stress, coffee, climate control - is quietly working against your hydration levels every single day.

Swipe through for the science, the warning signs, and the practical steps to keep your body running the way it should.
