Dementia Action Week 2026: In Conversation with Sean Wilson

As part of Dementia Action Week, join Melbourne author Sean Wilson at Cheltenham Library for a special in-conversation event exploring his moving second novel, You Must Remember This.

Shortlisted for the 2026 Miles Franklin Literary Award and The Age Book of the Year Fiction Award, the novel is told from the perspective of Grace, a woman living with dementia.

It offers a compassionate and deeply human portrait of memory, identity, family and connection, inspired in part by Sean's own experience witnessing his grandmother's journey with dementia.

National Meals on Wheels Day 💙

Today is National Meals on Wheels Day, where we recognise the positive impact of delivered meals in our communities. It's more than tasty, healthy meals delivered to homes - it's about connection, care, and kindness.

We have dedicated volunteers delivering around 750 meals per week from our Bonbeach Kitchen to those who need it most. It's a small act that reminds us how much it matters to look out for one another.
