FROM 01.10.26
WE ARE CASHLESS! 💳

Why the change?

With the changes to Australia’s card payment rules coming into effect from the 1st of October, it's the right time for us to make the switch to cashless.

From Thursday the 1st of October:

💳 Card? Yep.
📱 Direct Debit? Yep.
🪙 Searching the bottom of your handbag for 35 cents? Nope.

NO cash is kept on premises.

🐾 We know. Your dog is adorable. Probably the best dog ever, actually.

Yes, we’d all love to bring our pets along to appointments. Unfortunately, our medical practices aren’t quite ready to become a dog cafe 😂

Because we’re clinical environments, we need to maintain a clean & hygienic spaces for everyone, while also being mindful of allergies, patient comfort & animal behaviour.

So, pets cannot be brought into the practice unless they are an appropriately documented therapy/assistance dog. This includes dogs, cats & all other beloved four-legged sidekicks. 🐱

🐶 Have a recognised therapy/assistance dog?
No problemo! Before bringing them to an appointment:

1. Contact our reception team
Let us know that you have a therapy/assistance dog and would like to have them attend with you.

2. Provide the appropriate documentation
Our team will need to sight the relevant current paperwork/certification for your dog.

3. Have it recorded on your patient file
Once the documentation has been verified, we’ll note this on your file so our team knows your dog is approved to attend.

4. Let reception know when booking
Please mention that your dog will be accompanying you when making your appointment, so we can make arrangements where needed.

For everyone else… we’re afraid your furry bestie will have to stay home. 🥲

We promise they’ll still be very impressed when you tell them all about your appointment afterwards. 🐾❤️

This NAIDOC Week, we honour the enduring connection between First Nations peoples, Country & ancestral knowledge through the work adn artistry of Robert Fielding.

In Manta Miilmiilpa (Sacred Earth), Mr Fielding explores the profound relationship between land, memory & Tjukurpa, the life force and spiritual framework that connects all things. Drawing on photographic processes while challenging colonial ways of seeing, he invites the landscape itself to become the storyteller.

Reflecting on the work, Mr Fielding shares:

"From the earth we come, to the earth we return. My culture allows me to connect deeply with the sacredness of the earth, and see the presence of our ancestors in every aspect of life. The landscape becomes the storyteller, the ancestors that are still part of the landscape start speaking, and Tjukurpa becomes momentarily tangible."

Through light, Country, and ancestral presence, Manta Miilmiilpa offers a powerful reminder of the living sacredness of the land and the knowledge it continues to hold.

"An ever-changing presence, it offers glimpses of a truth we all need to remember: Manta Miilmiilpa, Sacred Earth."

This NAIDOC Week, we celebrate the artist Robert Fielding.

In this striking image from his Mutaka Katalypa (Car Graveyard) series, Mr Fielding transforms abandoned vehicles into vibrant monuments of memory & community.

Reflecting on the work, Fielding explains:

"The 77 kilometre road between my home in Mimili community and the neighbouring community of Indulkana is scattered with car wrecks (mutaka katalypa). I call them 'graveyards in between'. Every car holds the stories of its owners and the passengers it once carried. Through the process of selecting certain cars, painting and illuminating them, I'm bringing back to life something long thought dead."

Through colour, light & imagination, Mr Fielding invites us to consider the stories embedded in the landscape & the enduring connections between people, place & history.

NAIDOC Week is a time to listen, learn & celebrate the stories, cultures & achievements of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year, we're shining a light on acclaimed First Nations artist Robert Fielding & his 2026 Archibald Prize finalist work, Tjintir-Tjintir.

The portrait features Adrian Dodd, a ceremonial dancer & cultural teacher known for sharing the Tjintir-Tjintir (Willie Wagtail) story. Through this powerful work, Fielding explores themes of culture, connection, knowledge sharing & the importance of keeping stories alive for future generations.

Fielding describes the Willie Wagtail as a watchful messenger, small in size but powerful in presence, moving through land, memory & story.

As we celebrate this year's NAIDOC Week theme, 50 Years of Deadly, we're honoured to recognise the artists whose work continues to strengthen culture, inspire conversation & preserve storytelling for generations to come.
