Many of you already know Carolini and have followed her journey over the years. You also know how incredibly hard we fought to keep her in Australia. Unfortunately, at the time, Beauty Therapy wasn’t recognised on the skilled occupation shortage list, and despite every avenue we explored, she had to return to Brazil with her beautiful family.
I made a promise that if we were ever given another opportunity, we’d do everything we could to bring her home and on the 7th December 2024 - I phoned Carolini in Brazil & let her know Beauty Therapy had now become recognised for sponsorship✨
I first met Carolini years ago when she was working in Bunbury while I was travelling WA as an aesthetic device trainer. Years later, our paths crossed again when I took over our second clinic, and she became part of the Cosmedica Skin family. Some people come into your life for a reason, and Carolini is one of them.
Last night, I welcomed Carolini, her partner Vinni and their beautiful son Victor after 26 hours of flying to start the next chapter of their lives with us again here in Perth.
At Cosmedica Skin, we’ve always been led by heart. Our story has never simply been about skin treatments; it’s about the people whose lives become part of ours. Every single day we have the privilege of making a positive impact, whether that’s helping someone find their confidence, supporting our team to achieve their dreams, or in moments like this, changing the course of a family’s future.
Being able to sponsor Carolini and her family back to Australia is an incredibly proud moment of our journey, and a defining chapter in the story of Cosmedica Skin.
