👀 Oops… or an opportunity to learn?

In our OT groups, mistakes are part of the magic!

Sometimes things don’t quite go to plan… like when you’re trying to open the cinnamon and suddenly YOU, the table AND the floor are all very well seasoned! 😂

But moments like these are actually full of learning opportunities.

We practise:
- Staying calm when something unexpected happens
- Problem-solving
- Asking for and accepting help
- Cleaning up and taking responsibility
- Having a laugh and trying again
- Learning that mistakes don’t mean we’ve failed

In our groups, we want children to feel safe to have a go, make mistakes, learn from them and keep going. Because building confidence and resilience doesn’t happen when everything goes perfectly - it happens in the messy moments too.

And sometimes… those messy moments involve a LOT of cinnamon! 😂
