One month until we retreat ☀️☀️☀️ Imagine waking up on the Saturday morning and not having anywhere you need to be.
No rushing.
No alarm.
No deciding what you're going to eat.
No planning the day.
No thinking about what needs to happen next.
Just waking up, breathing, moving, eating, resting, connecting and being.
It is incredibly nourishing to stay in one place for an entire weekend
You don't have to pack your days with activities or travel from one place to another. You don't have to make a hundred little decisions about where to go, what to eat, what to do or when to do it.
Someone else has taken care of the itinerary.
Someone else has thought about the menu.
The space is held for you.
You get to let go, your mind gets to relax.
This is one of the things I love most about retreats.
We often talk about rest as though it simply means having nothing to do. But true rest can also be the relief of having nothing to figure out. The relief from decision fatigue.
The relief of stepping outside your usual responsibilities and routines long enough for your mind to realise that it doesn't need to be constantly solving, organising, remembering and anticipating. This relief is liberating.
When the mind begins to soften, something else becomes possible. You can actually BE present.
You can notice the way the morning light falls across the lake.
You can savour your breakfast instead of eating while thinking about the next thing.
You can have a conversation that isn't rushed.
You can lie down in the afternoon simply because you feel like it.
You can practise yoga without needing to get somewhere afterwards.
You can laugh.
You can be quiet.
You can listen to yourself.
You can let your nervous system exhale.
And perhaps most importantly, you can remember what it feels like to experience your life rather than constantly manage it.
That is what we're creating at the Women's Radiance Retreat
A weekend where you don't have to hold everything or decide anything
You simply get to arrive and be held by the space, the land, the practices, the food, the women and the experience.
One month from now, we'll be gathering at Lake Cullulleraine
