All centres, except Ashford, will be closed on Monday, 8 June 2026.

Ashford Collection Centre (57-59 Anzac Highway) will be open from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

June is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.

Bowel cancer claims the lives of 101 Australians every week (5,276 people a year) – but it’s one of the most treatable types of cancer when detected early.

While the risk of bowel cancer increases significantly with age, the disease doesn’t discriminate, affecting people of all ages.

If you are concerned about unusual bowel movements or symptoms, visit your GP and ask about the tests available.

And most importantly, if you are aged 50 or over, don't forget to partake in your biannual bowel screening. It could save your life.
