I maybe in a season / age / stage where self care is my number 1 priority over anything and everything else.
But I’ve spent 2 years regulating my nervous system from ashes. And I am not willing to ever jeopardise my nervous system ever again.

I lived for most my life in fight and flight mode, people pleasing and putting everyone else’s feelings, emotions and wellbeing over mine.
Something most mums do.

Not anymore.

I’ve seen what a regulated nervous system does to your life and it is a place of peace I will remain and will never ever feel guilty for putting myself first.

Regulating your nervous system should be your number 1 priority in your life cause everything flows with peace and ease when you’re operating from a regulated nervous system. And I mean everything.

I’ve achieved this inner peace by making self love, self care number 1 priority over everything else. Even if it meant the kids have toasties for dinner 2 nights in a row. Whatever it takes. It’s top priority.

I also took a deep dive into metaphysics and energy healing to remove blocks and beliefs that are in the way of me achieving this state of being.

After every block gets removed it becomes easier and easier to stay in this inner peace not matter what goes on in your life around you.

There was a time when I realised I had completely forgotten who I was.

I didn’t know what I truly liked anymore.
I didn’t know what I disliked.
I didn’t have any dreams or visions.

I had spent so many years meeting everyone else’s needs, carrying everyone else’s expectations and living on autopilot that somewhere along the way... I lost myself.

I became disconnected from my own spirit.

Life looked “normal” from the outside, yet inside I felt like something was missing.

It wasn’t until I began slowing down, sitting in stillness and doing deep healing work by turning inward that everything started to change.

I discovered that the answers I’d been searching for weren’t outside of me.

They had been quietly waiting within me all along.

That journey home to myself wasn’t always easy.

It asked me to let go of old stories, limiting beliefs, fear and the parts of me that no longer felt true.

But with every layer that fell away, I remembered a little more of who I really was.

Today, that journey has become the heart of Glow Alchemy.

Not because I believe I have all the answers...

But because I know what it feels like to lose yourself.

And I know how powerful it is to find your way home again piece by piece.
