We're so pleased to be involved in this event - a local community meet-up with a focus on supporting those navigating loss of vision.

Thank you to Jonty Bush - Member for Cooper and the Seniors Advisory Group for bringing together organisations, including Vision Australia, to help connect people living with vision loss with valuable information, services and support.

We're grateful for the opportunity for our optometrist, Kylie, to contribute to these important conversations and connect with our local community. We look forward to seeing you there!

Vision loss can be sudden or gradual. It might originate from a trauma, illness or it may simply come with ageing.

Either way, it can have a huge impact on a persons life, work, travel, relationships and just getting around.

Our Seniors Advisory Group has helped me pull together a meet up and information day for people with vision loss.

It’s this week, Thursday 16th July from 11am until 1pm at the BrisWest Centre, 132 Latrobe Terrace Paddington.

We have a few services including Vision Australia coming to talk about support and the newest technology to help.

You’re not alone in this journey, and I look forward to seeing connections made on Thursday.

Our principal optometrist Kylie McNeill was invited to speak at the MyDay MiSight 1-Day Launch Event after being honoured to receive early access to the new contact lenses prior to their launch.

She was asked to talk alongside her wonderful peer, Kylie Zahner, about her experience with this new silicone hydrogel material design. With its ease, improved comfort, and oxygen permeability, this is sure to be our new go-to for myopic control with soft contact lenses.

Thank you to Cooper Vision for inviting Kylie to talk about her experience. What an excellent night of learning from Dr Arthur Bradley, Dr Preeya Alexander, and Joe Tanner - thank you for passing on your wisdom.

🧡💙 WOMEN WITH VISION 2026 💙🧡

Kylie and Sandra headed down to Melbourne for the Women With Vision Conference, and what an incredible event it was!

They had the opportunity to hear from an inspiring panel of women across the optical industry, sharing insights on leadership, business, and their journeys within optics.

This was a fantastic event that brought together women from all across Australia, each contributing to the optical industry in their own way. Thank you to and for organising such a wonderful event. We can’t wait to see what’s next! ✨
