I declare myself an official Dockers supporter 💜😂

Featuring on the Freo Dockers Insta page last night 🤣💜

Also completely lost my voice from cheering so hard and trying to drown out the Geelong fans next door 😂

But something I noticed last night… Freo fans hold their breath and get SO nervous when the game isn’t going our way. And honestly, I reckon that changes the momentum. The players can actually feel the energy from the crowd.

We need to stay LOUD. Stay strong. Keep believing. Give them the same faith we have in them when things are going well.

So here, take my advice. Clearly, I know what I’m doing. 😆🤣💜

What a day! 💕

As a player, volunteer and sponsor, I feel incredibly proud to be part of this beautiful club.

The Ducks have hosted our Breast Cancer Round for the third year in a row, and once again it was such a huge success. 💕🩷

Watching our stand alone women’s AFLW Masters football club continue to thrive and grow is honestly something pretty special. What a community we have created! 🥰

A huge thank you to Town of Victoria Park and Karen Vernon, Mayor of Victoria Park, for popping over and showing your support.

And a massive thank you to the wonderful CWA of WA, Victoria Park branch ladies for giving up your time to run the cake stall. 🧁💕 Your support means so much to us.

And of course, thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, played, supported, organised, baked, cheered and helped make today happen.

So proud of this club.
So proud of our women.
And so proud to be part of the Ducks family. 🩷🦆

Apparently I’ve officially been promoted to Chief Cheerleader 😂📣🏉

And this certificate is even more special because it was made by the only girl on my son’s team. 🥰

She absolutely loved her year playing with the boys, and it made me so happy to see her out there enjoying herself, being part of the team and just getting stuck into footy.

Her mum actually thanked me for being there and cheering her on so loudly. 😂🥰

But honestly, I was more than happy to do it.

Because sometimes kids just need someone on the sideline who is really, really loud in their corner. 📣😂

Being a mum, pharmacist, menopause clinician, business owner and all the other hats I wear can sometimes feel like a lot.

But moments like this remind me that being present matters too.

And perhaps that’s why I love this little certificate so much.

Women and girls deserve people who cheer them on. Loudly. Proudly. Unapologetically. 💜

So I’ll happily accept my title:

🏆 The Best Cheerleader Ever 🏆

And I’ll keep cheering. 🥰📣💙💛
