I just came back from a few days in Sydney. 🥳
I felt blessed to be part of the AusMumpreneur again this year, just like 2 years ago.
Being in a room full of ambitious and amazing women is inspiring and humbling at the same time. I loved to see everyone's passion and determination, especially when it is expressed with honesty ahd authenticity.
As these women talk about succes and leadership, it made me reflect on what it means for me...
Success in my life is not a profit number for my business, it has nothing to do with how others see me or how I fit in, in society.
Success is an inside feeling. Just like peace. It is the delicate balance of the important components of my life.
It is knowing that I am where i want to be in my marriage, feeling like I am the mum I want to be for my daughters and being able to help others in my work with kindness and compassion.
I am far from being successful everyday.
Some days, the balance goes out the window and s**t hits the fan.
Kindness is such an underrated skill.
Nothing tells me more about someone then the way they treat others.
True leadership in my eyes, is held by inspiration, kindness and compassion.
Success is also about having time.
For our friends, our children and the people we meet along the way. Because at the end of the journey, time is the precious thing we will eventually run out off.
I will always be at awe of the Peace and Katy, for what they have creating, the community they have built and the values they are holding.
Women supporting women is changing the world. ❤️
