Flu season has well and truly peaked across the Southern Highlands, and if you or your family are yet to be vaccinated, now is the time.

Flu vaccines are available now at Mittagong Doctors, government funded for eligible patients including:

- Children aged 6 months to under 5 years- Adults 65 years and older- Pregnant women- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and older- People with certain medical conditions

And for the little ones, FluMist is a needle-free nasal spray, bulk billed for children aged 2 to 17 under the NSW Nasal Spray Influenza Vaccination Program.

School group chats across the Southern Highlands have been buzzing about flu all winter. And if you are still yet to tick your child’s flu vaccine off the list, there is still time.

FluMist is still available at Mittagong Doctors as a needle-free nasal spray flu vaccine option for children.

Under the NSW Nasal Spray Influenza Vaccination Program, FluMist is bulk billed for children aged 2 to 17.

For children outside this age group, FluMist is available as a private vaccine. Please give our reception team a call for current pricing and availability.

Prefer the traditional option? Government-funded injectable flu vaccines are also available for eligible patients.
