Every family navigating PANS or PANDAS can have a very different experience.

Changes such as sudden tics, big emotions, difficulties at school or sensory overwhelm can be incredibly challenging for the whole family, particularly when things seem to change quickly.

And sometimes what looks like “behaviour” from the outside is only one small part of a much bigger picture.

PANS and PANDAS are complex conditions that require appropriate medical assessment and care. At Restore, we don’t diagnose or treat either condition.

Where chiropractic care is appropriate, our role is to assess the areas relevant to chiropractic care and work alongside the broader healthcare picture surrounding that child.

Most importantly, we want families navigating complex seasons to feel heard, supported and comfortable asking questions.

Save this for a family who might find it helpful 🤎

“We’ve tried everything.”

There’s often a lot behind those words. Research, appointments, different strategies and a parent who’s still trying to understand what their child needs.

At Restore, we start by listening to the whole story. We take the time to understand your child’s history, development and current concerns before assessing what’s relevant to chiropractic care.

Sometimes the next step isn’t about trying more. It’s about understanding more 🤎

If you’re curious about our approach, you’re always welcome to reach out or book a first appointment at Moama, Kyabram or Whittlesea via the link in our bio.

Sometimes the goals families share with us are big. Other times, they're the little everyday things that would make life feel that bit easier.

Feeling happier and more like yourself. Watching your little one work towards their next developmental milestone. Hoping everyone gets a little more sleep. Or simply wanting to better understand what your child finds difficult and how you can support them.

These are some of the real-life goals families are currently working towards at Restore.

They aren't promises or outcomes of chiropractic care. They're the things that matter to the people we care for, and they help guide the conversations we have when considering whether chiropractic care may be appropriate for them.

Because behind every appointment is a person or family with their own reason for being there 🤎

We see you.

You might be thinking ahead about the noise when you arrive, how long you'll stay, whether the transition home will be tricky, or what you'll do if the plan suddenly changes.

For some families, a diagnosis can provide helpful language and access to support. For others, they're still trying to understand why certain parts of everyday life seem to take so much more energy for their child.

Either way, the label is only one piece of a much bigger person.

This week we're exploring the good and difficult sides of labels, nervous system regulation, and why understanding the individual child matters.

Save this for one of those days when the smallest transition feels like the biggest task 🤎

If you’ve been putting so much time and energy into supporting your child, but still feel like you’re missing a piece of the puzzle, this workshop is for you.

At Restore, we often talk about looking at development from the foundation up.

The nervous system, movement and sensory development, sleep, digestion, stress, environment and overall health can all be pieces of a much bigger picture.

Our Perfect Storm Workshop explores how early experiences and cumulative stress may influence nervous system development and regulation, and why understanding that foundation can be valuable when considering the support around your child.

Join us tonight, Thursday Aug 27 for our FREE Perfect Storm Online Webinar.

Join from home, ask the questions and leave with a better understanding of the nervous system and your child.

There’s a lot to navigate when it comes to your child’s health, and you’re not expected to have every answer ready.

Knowing your options, feeling comfortable asking questions and understanding who you can turn to for support can make those unexpected moments feel a little less overwhelming.

At Restore, part of what we love to do is help families better understand the nervous system and feel informed about the care available to them.

Save this one as a reminder to keep asking questions, or share it with another parent who might appreciate it too 🤍

When your child is navigating anxiety, worry or overwhelm, it can be hard to know where to start.

Looking at the bigger picture can help. Their environment, routines, sleep, relationships and how their body is responding to stress can all be worth considering.

At Restore, our neurological INSiGHT scans give us additional information about nervous system function and adaptation. They don't diagnose anxiety, but they can provide another piece of information when we're getting to know your child.

If you'd like to understand more about what we look at, send us a DM or visit the link in our bio.

Save this one for later or share it with another parent who may find it helpful 🤍
