Spiritual growth is rarely a straight line.

At times we can feel inspired and confident; at others, we may doubt ourselves, make mistakes or feel as though we are going backwards. When we expect change to happen quickly, it can be easy to become discouraged.

Join Gen Kelsang Rabten for Faith & Wisdom: Freedom from Discouragement, a meditation workshop exploring Buddha’s wisdom for keeping our faith strong, protecting ourself from discouragement and maintaining confidence in the person we are becoming.

Through teachings and meditation, we can learn to approach our spiritual journey with greater patience, resilience and inner strength.

Bookings now open for this special event with Gen La Kelsang Kunsang at the Melbourne Convention Centre. Saturday 19 December.

Christmas invites us to slow down and reconnect with what matters most. Yet for many of us, the season can feel anything but peaceful, with busy schedules, endless expectations, and the pressure to do it all. What if the greatest gift this Christmas wasn’t something to receive, but something to discover?

In this special event, Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang will share timeless Buddhist wisdom on finding peace and happiness in the midst of a busy life. Through practical insights and guided meditation, you’ll discover how to let go of stress and anxiety, meet life’s challenges with greater ease, and cultivate a peaceful, joyful mind.

Take a moment to pause, reconnect with yourself, and discover the peace that already exists within.

The Journey to Peace: Meditations on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (Lamrim)

Lamrim is a practical presentation of Buddha’s teachings that guides us step by step along the path to enlightenment.

These monthly sessions include a clear explanation of a Lamrim meditation, encouragement and time to practise together in a supportive environment. This class is a wonderful way to deepen your understanding and begin building a regular Lamrim meditation practice.

During the retreat, Gen Lhachog guided meditations and teachings based on How to Understand the Mind by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, helping us explore how the mind functions and how understanding it can lead to greater peace, joy and spiritual meaning.
