The Food Safety auditor today has declared the standards of our kitchen to be A+. He stated that staff work to standards above accepted and expected standards.
I am not surprised. I am very aware of the exceptional standards in our kitchen.
I am certainly super proud of our catering staff to have that confirmed by someone who sees many commercial kitchens.
Kath is an inspiration and has taught her team well. Congratulations to all kitchen staff and many thanks for your diligence! Well done!!!

We are fast heading toward the end of the financial year. Which means auditing of records, setting a new budget, reporting to government departments and scheduling our annual meeting.

It is also that time of year when memberships are due and positions become vacant on the Board of Management.

Aged Care Monto Inc is a community owned not-for-profit organisation, incorporated with the Office of Fair Trading Qld and a registered charity. As an incorporated organisation we must have financial members. Unfortunately, our number has dwindled over the years.

Membership of our organisation is not just about paying $11 each year to receive monthly newsletters. Membership is about having involvement and input into the current services and future direction of Ridgehaven. We need feedback, suggestions and constructive criticism to ensure our services are best quality and that planning is heading into the direction that is of most benefit to the community.

Aged Care Monto Inc meets every 3 months. Please consider joining us so that together we can ensure quality, and genuine care, of our residents not only now but also into the future.

Many thanks to the lovely people at the Monto Neighbourhood Centre for once again delivering Easter goodies to the residents. Included were uniquely designed and created book markers, engraved with special messages. Very thoughtful. Residents loved your gift packages.
