Description
GymbaROO is about putting the natural back into developmental opportunities for young children. Organic, natural development of children is difficult in our society with its safety/litigation concerns and ultra busy lives with reduced opportunities to move and play. At GymbaROO we are all about moving, playing, dancing, rocking, swinging, catching, climbing and having fun.

Ever notice every GymbaROO-KindyROO class is barefoot? 👣 It’s intentional.

The soles of little feet are packed with sensory receptors that respond to touch, pressure and changes in the surface beneath them. When shoes and socks come off, children get direct contact with the ground, helping them balance, adjust and build body awareness through every step, climb and jump.

Grass, sand, carpet, a soft mat. Each one feels different beneath little feet and asks the body to respond in a slightly different way. That sensory information quietly supports coordination, movement and even those lovely moments of calm.

And yes, this applies to babies too. Barefoot tummy time gives little ones something to push against as they wriggle and explore. Those tiny toes are doing more than you think.
