A reminder that you'll find the mobile breast screening unit in Moora from today, 17th August to 4th of September at the Moora District Hospital on Dandaragan Street.

This is an entirely free service for women over the age of 40, so please book your mammogram in if you haven't had one within the past two years.

BreastScreen WA's FREE mobile screening mammogram service is coming soon to Moora. If you are over the age of 40, it is important to have your free screening every two years, so book your appointment if you haven’t had one recently!

This is a public service announcement to let everyone know that the Shire of Moora website will be undergoing maintenance and will be unavailable for a short period of time this week.

A massive thank you to breaksea.org, Gina Williams-Ghouse and her team for bringing Aliwah Bardinar! to the Moora Performing Arts Centre last week, we are still on a high from the colourful performance – and so are our community that managed to snag tickets in time!

This was the first show we’ve had in the past 10 years to sell out to absolute full capacity, and we couldn't be more thrilled that a show like this was the one to do it. It has been a pleasure to bring something so imaginative and sensory to our wonderful Shire and see so many little faces light up with awe and wonder at the performance on stage. That’s what makes it all worthwhile for us! 💛

Nat and Maria from the Community Development team attended WA Showcase in Perth last week to see all of the amazing new shows touring WA in 2027 and beyond, so to say we are extremely excited for what is on its way to Moora would be an understatement.

Keep your eyes peeled for everything still to come before the end of 2026 here at the MPAC! 👀
