Hello there!

I’m Suraya (Raya) the founder of Stronger Bodies. If we haven’t met in the clinic or in person yet I wanted to step out from behind the treatment table and say hello!

My mission with Stronger Bodies has always been simple: to provide the community with personalised, holistic care that actually sticks. I don’t just want to “fix” a symptom I want to help you build a body that thrives and achieves every goal you WANT it to.

I’m a Physiotherapist, Nutritionist, Women’s Health advocate, fitness enthusiast and someone deeply passionate about helping people feel stronger, healthier and more confident in their bodies. My journey has taken me from the mountains of Chile to the mining towns of Moranbah, specialising in everything from Sports Rehab to Women’s Pelvic Health and Nutrition.

My approach to healthcare is holistic, evidence-based and centred around the individual. Alongside my qualifications in Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Women’s Health, I’m currently studying Naturopathy because I truly believe in combining modern healthcare with natural health principles to support the body as a whole.

Health and movement have always been a huge part of my life both personally and professionally. I’ve actually spent most of my life partaking in sports and physical activity (always on the move) so I know what it’s like to push a body to its limits and I know how to bring it back to balance!

Over the years I’ve participated in Olympic lifting, powerlifting, running, netball, touch football and most recently stepped on stage to compete in bodybuilding an experience that challenged me physically and mentally, while deepening my understanding of training, nutrition, recovery and the importance of balance.

I love helping people not only recover from injury or improve performance but also understand their bodies better through movement, nutrition, lifestyle and education.

Stronger Bodies was created to be more than just a clinic, I wanted to build a welcoming space where people feel heard, supported and genuinely cared for throughout their health journey.
