What are the signs of social anxiety?

1. Avoid asking people for help

2. Not showing your true self

3. Avoid spaces where you can’t easily hide

4. Feeling anxious and fearful in social situations

5. Making excuses to skip meetings

6. Being extremely aware of how to behave

Research indicates that therapy can be very helpful in treating social anxiety. Working through your challenges with a counsellor can give you the strategies and coping mechanisms to begin on this journey. There are several different approaches that we can use but we’ll work with you to find the best approach for your unique and personal circumstances.
