Aberlea Mortlake is an aged care hostel in Western Victoria. It is a modern, state of the art facility with 40 beds that provide permanent and respite care as well as day respite. m. Residents are invited to furnish their room with treasured pieces of furniture, paintings and books to add to an atmosphere which is already homely and welcoming. All rooms have lockable storage space for residents' private belongings and doors which open to communal gardens and living areas. Communal areas within the house provide a relaxed settings where residents can enjoy the company of others, or a place to retreat for peace and quiet. A fully furnished respite room is available for those in the community who need accomodation and care on a temporary basis. Highly nutritious home cooked meals are prepared on the premises in our fully equipped commercial kitchen. Special dietary requirements are catered for upon request or need. Residents health and well-being are carefully monitored by an attentive staff of trained nurses and personal carers who are available 24 hours a day to help with all requirements. We also offer a range of service for members of the community who need help at home. These services include, but are not limited to, lawn mowing, gutter clearing, house cleaning, in house meals, window cleaning and general maintenance.
