We have received current season 2025 Influenza vaccinations. Please book in with our doctors or nurses for a vaccination.

If you are 65 or older, 5 years of age or younger, or have an eligible chronic medical condition, then the vaccine is free under the Government's National Immunisation Program.

MedPlaza is using the HealthEngine service for online appointments and reminders

We are utilising HealthEngine facilities to send clinical reminders to our patients. These may be reminders about Vaccinations that are due, Prolia/Hormonal injections, Clinical reviews, Follow ups.
The reminder will be a SMS text message. There will be a link to click to follow through to the actual reminder text - this is safe.

Just advising that MedPlaza does not use MediSecure and our patients' data and prescriptions should not be affected by the recent data breach

The MediSecure data breach does not affect current prescriptions and patients should feel confident in getting scripts filled, AMA Queensland Vice President Dr Nick Yim said after a briefing from the National Office of Cyber Security.

MedPlaza now offers COVID-19 booster vaccinations.

If it has been over 6 months from your last COVID-19 vaccination and COVID-19 illness (whichever is more recent) you are then eligible for a booster.
A booster is mainly recommended for those 65 or over, and those aged 18-64 if they have other conditions which may increase their risk of severe COVID-19 infection.

With regret we advise that the practice will be closed on Saturdays.

Due to rising operational costs, incl. staff salaries, and ongoing low Medicare rebates, it is no longer financially viable for the practice to open on Saturdays.
