🖤💛❤️ Happy NAIDOC Week! 💙💚🤍
This NAIDOC Week, the team at Medicare Mental Health Centre Moruya proudly joins communities across Australia in celebrating and recognising the history, cultures, achievements and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This year's celebrations provide an opportunity to listen, learn, connect and reflect on the contributions of First Nations peoples, while acknowledging the importance of culture, community and Country in supporting social and emotional wellbeing. These themes are reflected in NAIDOC Week celebrations and community events held across the region. [Hi Everyon...k of July | Viva Engage], [Summary of...P Jan 2026 | Word]
We encourage everyone to take part in local NAIDOC Week activities, learn from First Nations voices, and celebrate the world's oldest continuing cultures.
From all of us at Medicare Mental Health Centre Moruya, we wish everyone a meaningful and inspiring NAIDOC Week.

June is Men’s Mental Health Month.

A reminder that many men in our community are carrying more than they let on — and you don’t have to do it alone.

At Medicare Mental Health Moruya, we’re here to support men 16 and over with:
• Mental health assessment & short‑term support
• Peer support
• Care navigation to the right services
• Links to local men’s groups

The Men’s Table
A great local option for men wanting real conversation and connection.
There’s an established group in Batemans Bay, and there’s interest in starting a Moruya group soon (TBC).

It’s not therapy — just men supporting men.

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out, or you’re worried about a mate, we’re here.

What an incredible day at Pride in the Park! 🌈
We were so proud to be part of such a vibrant, inclusive community event here in Moruya. From the amazing live music and energetic drag performances, to the much-loved dog and bike parades, delicious food, and diverse stalls — the whole day was filled with joy, connection and celebration.
Our team from the Medicare Mental Health Centre Moruya loved being there, meeting so many wonderful people, having meaningful conversations, and sharing information about the supports available in our community. It was a great reminder of how powerful it is to come together, create safe and welcoming spaces, and celebrate diversity.
A big thank you to Queerobodalla and everyone who made the day so special — you truly created something memorable 💜
If you stopped by our stall, it was lovely to meet you! And if you missed us, you’re always welcome to drop into the centre for a chat and support.

There are plenty more fantastic events happening across the region — check them out here: https://queerobodalla.com/events/
