How cool to find a rare treasure among Alison's archives!
While training with Julie this week I found Mum's diploscope.
This orthoptic instrument was invented in 1902 by Ophthalmologist Dr A. Remy. It tests for binocular vision & muscle imbalance & can be used for divergence & convergence problems. Such a simple test to provide great information about the eyes & brain!
Found only in museums now!! Will be putting this to good use! 👍

This is what can happen when you work hard, are committed to the home exercises & have parents who are involved in the treatment journey!
Ethan made a gain of over 18 months in reading & had improvements with spelling, writing, concentration, memory & sporting ability!
His eyes are now working well together with noticeable changes with depth perception, convergence, tracking & steady fixation.
Words have stopped moving on the page when reading - how awesome 🎉
Ethan can now reach his learning potential & with his determination & enthusiasm he will achieve his goals, with an exciting future to look forward to!!
