Know someone living with cerebral palsy?

Cerebral palsy is a neurological condition caused by abnormal brain development or injury, usually during pregnancy or infancy. It affects muscle tone, movement and coordination.

Physiotherapy helps to develop the foundational skills for gross motor development, independence in activities of daily living and community participation.

Early intervention is key to giving children with cerebral palsy the best change to develop age-appropriate skills so they can engage meaningfully with their peers.

Whilst most people are familiar with Physios in an injury or rehab setting, did you know we help people with disabilities too?

We help adults with a range of neurological and physical disabilities to improve or maintain their function and promote independence at home.

We help both neurodiverse and neurotypical children reach their developmental and gross motor milestones. Children who are delayed in their gross motor skills often have difficulty participating in physical play with their peers, adding a barrier to developing social skills and meaningful friendships.
