GPcare General Practice is located at the Summit Health Centre, Wellington Rd Mt Barker and is one of a number of clinical services provided by Summit Health.

GPcare is a not-for-profit, locally focused general practice committed to improving the health of our Adelaide Hills community. We provide coordinated health care in a welcoming environment and consult alongside a large number of other health professional in the Summit Health Centre. It can be difficult arranging appointments with all your health care providers, our relationship with the medical specialists, nursing and allied health professionals consulting at the Centre enables us to provide you with a coordinated, comprehensive health care experience in one location. A large number of our medical, nursing and practice staff proudly declare themselves as ‘Hills locals’. We are located next to, and have a strong working relationship with, the Mt Barker Hospital. All our GPs have admitting rights to the hospital enabling patients to receive comprehensive care should they require admission. Welcome to the team, Dr Reuben Singaraveloo!
We're excited to introduce Dr Reuben Singaraveloo as the newest member of our GPcare team at Summit Health!

Dr Singaraveloo is an experienced GP with broad hospital experience across major Adelaide hospitals. With special interests in chronic disease management, skin cancer, aged care, mental health, and preventative medicine, he is passionate about improving health literacy and helping patients feel confident in managing their own healthcare. He is also fluent in Mandarin and Malay.

Dr Chloe Ng is a GP Registrar who brings extensive hospital experience and a strong interest in chronic disease management, preventative health, and caring for older adults. With postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and a Professional Diploma in Dermatology, she is committed to supporting patients to achieve long-term wellbeing through evidence-based care, lifestyle support, and regular monitoring.

⚽ We’re cheering on one of our own! 🇦🇺

A huge congratulations to Dr Sara Stephensen, who is currently in China representing Football Australia as the Team Doctor for the CommBank Joeys (Australia’s Under 17 Men’s National Football Team) at the CFA U17 Invitational 2026. The tournament is being held from 5–13 July.

We’re incredibly proud to see Dr Sara supporting Australia’s next generation of football talent on the international stage. Her expertise, dedication and commitment to athlete health make her an invaluable member of the Joeys’ medical team.

We wish Dr Sara and the CommBank Joeys the very best for the tournament and can’t wait to welcome her back to GPcare with (hopefully!) some great stories to share.

GPcare will be closed over the Easter long weekend. If you or your family need urgent medical care during this time, the Mt Barker Hospital Emergency Department remains open 24/7 as a walk-in service, located at 87 Wellington Road, next to the Summit Health Centre.

Flu season is just around the corner, and we’re here to help keep our community well.

Private flu vaccinations are now available at GPcare, with Government-funded vaccines expected to arrive after Easter.

If you’d like to get protected early, our team is ready to support you. Appointments are quick and easy to book - just give us a call on 1300 472 273.

For patients not eligible for a Government-funded vaccine, the consultation will be bulk billed, with an out-of-pocket cost of $15 for the vaccine.

Looking after your health helps protect those around you too - especially our most vulnerable.
