Strong women cry.
Not because they’re weak.
Not because they’re falling apart.
Not because they’re dramatic, lost, angry, or unable to cope.

Sometimes they cry because they are deeply, quietly exhausted.

Exhausted from carrying too much for too long.
Exhausted from being the one who holds everyone else together.
Exhausted from making the decisions, keeping the peace, staying kind, staying capable, staying available.
Exhausted from pushing through when their body is asking for rest.
Exhausted from being needed by so many people, while slowly disappearing from their own life.
Exhausted from thoughtlessness of strangers
Exhausted by her body changes
Exhausted from people being unkind to each other locally and globally

And sometimes the tears come not because something is wrong, but because something honest is finally making its way to the surface.

Crying can be a release.
A softening.
A letting go.

It can help move stress through the body.
It can interrupt the pressure of holding everything in.
It can be the moment a woman stops bracing and starts listening.
Not to the noise around her, but to herself.

In that moment, what she needs most is not judgment.
Not shame.
Not a lecture about being stronger.

She needs gentleness.
She needs permission to stop.
She needs rest without guilt.
She needs tenderness toward herself.
She needs to hear, even from her own inner voice, you don’t have to keep proving how strong you are.

And if this is your friend, your sister, your mother, your wife, or a woman you love, please don’t rush in and try to fix her.

Sit beside her.
Soften your voice.
Bring the tea.
Take something off her plate.
Let her cry without making her explain it too quickly.
Remind her she is safe.
Remind her she is loved.
Remind her she doesn’t have to hold the whole world together for one more minute.
Make it ok to let it out without trying to hush or help.

Some women cry because their heart is breaking.
Some cry because life is hard.
Some cry because they are softening through growth
Some cry because they feel connection and care for the first time in a while
Some from estrogen depletion !
And some cry because they have been strong for far too long without enough care coming back their way.

If you see that kind of crying, the type that spills over Ike a cup that’s just too full- meet it with love.

There’s a kind of loneliness that is hard to explain.

It’s not the dramatic kind.
No slammed doors. No big betrayal.
Just the quiet ache of lying next to someone you love and feeling like they are somehow far away.

I’ve sat with clients who say, *“He’s a good man. We’re kind to each other. We still do life well. So why do I feel so alone?”

And I think this is where we often get lost.

We assume something terrible must have happened.
We tell ourselves the love is gone.
But sometimes that isn’t the truth at all.

Sometimes two people are simply living in different “states” at the same time.

One is longing for closeness.
One is carrying the weight of work, pressure, responsibility.
One is trying to hold the family together.
And if that mismatch goes on too long, both people can start to feel hurt, guarded, and misunderstood.

This is the heart of what I call the NearFar Map

We tend to move through four different states:

Connective - when we want tenderness, reassurance, intimacy, presence.
Collective - when we want togetherness, family, ritual, shared meaning.
Creative - when we are building, solving, striving, growing.
Combative - when something in us no longer feels safe, and we start protecting instead of connecting.

The hard part is that when two people are in different states, they can start making painful meaning out of it.

One feels rejected.
One feels pressured.
One feels unseen.
One feels like nothing they do is right.

And slowly, what was once love starts to feel like distance.

Not always because the love has disappeared.
Sometimes because the way each person needs love in that moment has changed.

I think that is so important.

Because it gives us a gentler question to ask.

Not “what is wrong with us?”
But “what state am I in right now?”
And “what state are you in?”
And maybe most importantly, “what would help us feel close again?”

Sometimes that question opens a door that blame or fear of “it must be over”, never could.

Some days? Are confusing. Some nights ar a filled with “what ifs” some weeks seem like they will never end. In mediumship reading you receive messages from spirit via my guide. I’ve watched people. Are profoundly affected by hearing the clear explanations of how they got her. What pattern is recurring. And how to break it. And the best thing. You don’t have to tell your story. You don’t have to present th facts. You just sit down in a comfortable chair and with great care for you and respect for your autonomy and understanding of who you are as a person, away from all the worry - you receive guidance that actually helps. This is for real more than I ever expected readings to be. And everything I hoped for. e
