I have been a bit quiet on here lately and to be honest its because work probably hasn’t been a priority, I have had some personal commitments to attend to and some trips away meaning time off. My brain and heart have felt full and I am good but have been that dreaded and overused word busy.... I think. And to be even more honest, that’s not changing over the next few weeks either.

I have still been fitting in clients when I can and will continue to do so over the next couple of weeks and I don’t have huge wait times and I do my best to see you as soon as possible.

I recently took on a new client, a family, for some parent and child coaching. The child was experiencing school refusal and friendship challenges and wanted to develop strategies to manage emotions and build her confidence. We have only had two sessions so far and already she is feeling more happy and confident. But it also reminded me how much I love this work and I wanted to share this.

I will post more about this over the coming weeks but I wanted to let you know that I still work with children especially focusing on school refusal, friendship challenges, confidence and managing emotions.

But aren’t you a leadership and inclusion coach? Yes I am, but doing this work with children is giving them leadership skills. Skills to navigate relationships, communicate, regulate emotions and have a positive attitude.

If your child is going through any of this please send me a msg to see whether I could help. Sessions can be in person or online.

Seen someone wearing a Sunflower lanyard and not sure what it means? 🌻

It’s a simple, discreet way for someone to show they may have a non-visible disability and could need:
• Extra time
• Patience
• Understanding
• Support

This could include people living with ADHD, autism, anxiety, dementia, hearing loss, chronic pain, epilepsy, mental health conditions and many other non-visible disabilities or chronic illnesses.

You don’t need to do anything differently.
And you should never ask someone what their disability is.

If someone needs support, simply ask:
“How can I help?”

Then let them lead the conversation in the way that feels comfortable for them 💚
