Last week, we said farewell to Dr Joey Tan after having the pleasure of working alongside her over the past 12 months.

It has been a privilege to watch and support Dr Joey throughout this important stage of her medical journey. Her kindness, compassion, professionalism, and dedication to her patients have made a lasting impact, and she has been a valued member of our team.

As Dr Joey moves on to her next placement and the next chapter of her career, we wish her every success and happiness.

Yesterday, we said farewell to Dr Ashley Koay after having the pleasure of working alongside her over the past 12 months.

It was a pleasure to welcome Jesse from Therapy for Life to our clinic today.

Our Doctors and nurses appreciated the opportunity to gain insight into the comprehensive services offered by Therapy for Life and explore ways to support patient health and wellbeing.

Practice Fee Update

From 1 July 2026, our consultation fees will increase to help cover the rising costs of providing high-quality medical care, including staffing, equipment, and practice operations.
We remain committed to accessible healthcare and will continue to bulk bill:

Children aged 16 years and under
Pension and some Concession Card holders
DVA Card holders

Please refer to the attached fee schedule or speak with our friendly reception team if you have any questions.

Clinic closed on Saturday

Please note that the clinic will be closed on Saturday 27th June 2026, due to our staff attending a conference.

We will reopen on Monday 29th June and resume our normal hours.

Our duty phone will remain available for current patients requiring phone advise only.

If you require urgent medical attention, please attend the emergency department or Urgent care clinic.

Important Medicare Update for Patients – Effective 1st July 2026

From 1st July 2026, Medicare requires all patients to complete an Assignment of Benefit for Medicare claims.

This is your agreement for your consultation to be bulk billed.

To ensure a smooth transition, these changes are being implemented from now.

What you need to do:
Before leaving the clinic, you must attend the Accounts Desk to approve your Medicare claim.

Verbal consent is no longer accepted.
You will be asked to approve your claim via one of the following methods:
SMS link
Email link
Paper form

Telephone Appointments:
Patients attending telephone consultations will receive a Medicare approval link via SMS or email.

Please note that this is not a scam.
If the Assignment of Benefit is not completed, we will be unable to bulk bill your consultation.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as these changes are introduced.
If you have any questions, please speak with our friendly staff.

We’ve made it even easier for you to book your appointments online. Skip the queue and avoid calling the clinic for non-urgent appointments such as results reviews or due injections.

New patients are welcome to book online. We kindly ask that you bring a health summary from your previous medical clinic to your first appointment to help ensure a smooth consultation.

Appointments can be booked with Dr Roshani, Dr Reihaneh, Dr McEntee, Dr Ignat, Dr Joey, Dr Ashley, as well as our nursing team.

You are still very welcome to call the clinic on 8725 4261 to speak with one of our friendly receptionists, who will be happy to assist with your enquiry or appointment booking.
