Village Medical supporting Vinnies Australia
This Thursday night, our Practice Manager, Jessie, will join more than 100 South Australian business and community leaders in Adelaide for the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, raising vital funds and awareness for Australians experiencing homelessness.
At Village Medical, we know that health is about so much more than what happens in the clinic. Safe housing, security, connection and dignity are fundamental to a person's wellbeing. Every day, we see how social circumstances can shape health outcomes, which is why supporting organisations like Vinnies is so important.
The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is not intended to recreate or compare to the lived experience of homelessness. One night sleeping outdoors can never reflect the ongoing uncertainty, hardship and vulnerability experienced by people without a safe place to call home. Instead, it is an opportunity for community leaders to stand in solidarity, raise awareness and generate funds that directly support those who need it most.
Jessie is proud to represent our Village Medical team, and the Limestone Coast community, standing alongside more than 100 South Australian leaders who believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live with dignity and hope.
There's still time to make a difference.
If you've been thinking about donating, this is your chance. Every contribution, big or small helps Vinnies provide emergency accommodation, meals, practical assistance and long term support for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
