🐞❤️October is AAC Awareness Month❤️🐞

Communication is so much more than spoken words🗣

AAC can include communication devices📱, signs🤟, gestures🫶, pictures🖼, facial expressions🤔, writing✍, typing💻 and so much more — and every way of communicating is valid and welcome!

There is no “best” way to communicate. Our role is to listen, support, model, and make space for each person to communicate in the way that works best for them🌈

How do you use multimodal communication in your everyday life?✨

🚨ATTENTION QUEENSLAND CLIENTS!🚨

Is your little one getting ready for their big adventure into Prep? 🎒🐞

Our Prepare for Prep program is a fun, play-based space where children can connect, explore, practise and build confidence in their own way. 💛

There’s no one size fits all when it comes to school readiness, we’re here to celebrate each child’s strengths and support them to participate in ways that work for them. 🌈

🐞 Small steps. Big futures.

📅 Starting 13 October | 👧 Ages 4–5
📍 Ladybug House, Mudgeeraba

💛 R U OK? 💛

Sometimes a simple “Are you okay?” can mean more than we realise. It’s a great reminder to stay connected, look out for one another, and make space for conversations whether someone is having a tough time or simply needs a chat💬✨

A little check-in can make a big difference🫶

🏉 Footy Colours Day at Ladybug House! 💙❤️💛

Our team got into the footy spirit today by rocking our favourite team colours and jerseys in support of Footy Colours Day and the Fight Cancer Foundation! 🏉✨

It was a great opportunity to add a little extra colour to the clinic, show off our team spirit and, most importantly, come together to support such a meaningful cause. 💛

A big thank you to everyone who got involved and helped us make the day a little brighter! 🌈

Every little bit of support makes a difference. 💕
