Trying to conceive can make you want answers to questions no one can completely answer.

When will it happen?
How long should we keep trying like this?

When you can’t get certainty, it’s very easy to start searching for it somewhere else.

Another podcast. Another late-night research session that somehow leaves you with twelve more things to worry about.

I don’t think the goal is to reach a point where you never worry about your fertility again.

I want you to have something more useful to come back to when those thoughts appear.

Your own body.

What has actually been happening across your cycles?
Are there patterns repeating?
What looks supportive of fertility?
What might deserve a closer look?
And what are you worrying about that perhaps doesn’t need more of your attention right now?

Because there’s a very different feeling between trying everything because you’re afraid you might be missing something... and having a clearer & personalised understanding of what you’re actually needing to focus on.

You may not be able to know exactly when you’ll conceive.

But you can become much clearer on what your body is showing you while you’re trying.

And sometimes, having a grounded place, a proven process & a community of women to put your attention on is far more helpful than searching for certainty 🤍

If you’ve been TTC and wondering what your cycle might be trying to tell you, I created my free Fertility Pattern Guide to help you recognise some of the common patterns I look for in practice.

Comment PATTERN and I’ll send it to you 🕊️

There comes a point where reading more about fertility isn’t actually giving you more clarity.

You’ve saved the posts.
You’ve researched & been taking supplements.

Maybe you’ve downloaded the app, started paying more attention to your cycle and made some changes to how you’re eating and living.

But there’s still a difference between gathering information and having someone look at your body with you and say, “Here’s what I’m seeing. Here’s what I want us to focus on. And here’s what we can leave alone.”

That’s the space I wanted Fertile Momentum to fill.

It’s for the woman who isn’t waiting for something to go wrong before she asks for support.

Pregnancy is becoming real enough that she wants to prepare properly. She wants someone experienced beside her. She wants to know she’s spending these months focusing on what actually matters for her, rather than trying to piece together her fertility from everything she’s read online, that’s generic.

And she wants to arrive at the beginning of TTC feeling like she already knows her body.

If that’s the season you’re in, I’d love to spend the next four months preparing with you.

If you want someone experienced beside you as you prepare, and a community of likeminded women on the same journey, I’d love to guide you inside Fertile Momentum.

Comment MOMENTUM and I’ll send you the details 🤍

Winter mornings have looked like chasing the sunrise, meditating while the world is still quiet and occasionally falling asleep on the beach afterwards.

There’s been lots of music. Jazz over dinner, live bands, date nights and the kind of evenings that make me remember how much I love being somewhere with beautiful music playing.

Beach picnics, brazillian music, flowers, sourdough workshop, tea social gatherings, more music, good food, slow camping weekends, road trips, feeding days old baby lambs, work I genuinely care about & time with the people I love.

I think these are the parts of life I rarely share here because they don’t necessarily have anything to do with fertility or Ayurveda.

But they’re also the things that make me feel most like me.

Music. Nature. Long conversations. Bushwalking. Creating a home and life I love being inside of.

Anyway... a few little pieces from my camera roll lately.

And apparently my current personality is watching the sunrise as often as humanly possible 🌅

I used to think pregnancy preparation was mostly about my body, and would stress about my age.

I focussed on nutrition. Herbs. Preconception testing. Understanding my cycle.

And yes, all of those things were important to me.

But looking back, some of the most meaningful preparation happened long before we were thinking about fertile windows or conception.

It happened in the years we spent learning how to be together, and how to thrive together.

Having the uncomfortable conversations. Going to therapy. Learning how to repair after conflict instead of avoiding it. Becoming more intentional with money, our home, our routines and the kind of life we wanted to create together.

Then when the season came to prepare physically for pregnancy, it didn’t feel like an isolated project.

It felt like another layer of something we’d already been building, and moving towards. And we were together on this because we’d been talking about wanting a family together for years.

I think we can make preconception feel very clinical sometimes. As though preparing well means finding the perfect supplement list and getting every health marker exactly right.

For me, it became much bigger than that.

It was preparing my body, yes. But it was also looking at the life, relationship and foundations we hoped to welcome a baby into.

If you’re in that season now, I’ve created a free Pregnancy Preparation Guide to help you begin preparing with more intention.

Someone asked me recently, “How long have you been preparing for pregnancy?”

At first, I thought the answer was about a year.

That’s when I started preparing my body more intentionally.

I did Panchakarma in India, had fertility and nutritional testing, focused on strength training, supported my hormones and deepened my understanding of my cycle.

But the more I thought about it, the more I realised my preparation started long before that.

It started almost 12 years ago when I chose to study Ayurveda because I knew I wanted a family one day, even though I had no idea I’d end up working in fertility!

It continued when I left a relationship I thought would become my future.

When I met my husband and we spent years building a relationship that felt safe and secure. We did therapy together, created financial stability, built a home and a life that felt ready to welcome a child.

Looking back, I don’t see those years as time I was waiting. I see them as years I was preparing.

I also know that preparation looks different for every woman.

For some, it’s healing after illness.
For others, it’s finding the right partner, changing careers, moving somewhere that feels more aligned, or rebuilding their health before they begin trying.

That’s why I believe preparing for pregnancy is about so much more than supplements or starting three months before conception.

It’s about creating the healthiest foundation you can, in your body, your relationships and your life, before pregnancy arrives.

If pregnancy is on your heart in the next 6 to 12 months, I’d love to share my free Pregnancy Preparation Guide with you.

Over the last week I’ve started to share more about my own fertility journey, not just the women I’m working with.

So this is what preparation actually looks like in my own life…

Not perfect meals.

Not obsessing over supplements.

Not trying to control my pregnancy timeline.

Just quietly becoming the healthiest version of myself before we welcome a baby.

That means lifting weights.

Making nourishing meals.

Protecting my nervous system.

Getting outside in the sunshine.

Slowing down.

Spending time with friends.

Dancing.

Living in a way that supports the life I’m hoping to create… with baby.

Preparation has become much less about fear for me… and has me reflecting much more about the woman I want to be before I become a mother, the community & friendships I want to foster, and the patterns in relationship I want to cultivate.

I think that’s the biggest gift this season has given me.

One of the biggest misconceptions I see is that women think preparing for pregnancy starts with fertility testing.

Hormone testing can be incredibly valuable, but it’s important to understand that a hormone panel gives us a snapshot in time.

Your menstrual cycle tells the story of how your fertility is functioning month after month.

So when a woman comes to see me who wants support to prep for pregnancy, I want to understand her cycle.

Is she ovulating?
Can she recognise her fertile window?
What patterns is her body repeating each month?

Because I believe women deserve to understand their fertility before they’re worried about it.

That’s exactly why I created my free Pregnancy Preparation Guide. Comment PREP below and I’ll send it to you 🤍

Most women think fertility preparation starts when they begin trying.

I don’t.

What I’ve seen repeatedly is that fertility responds best when the foundations are already being supported.

Things like:
Digestion.
Blood sugar regulation.
Nourishment.

The body is constantly responding to the environment we’re creating for it, which includes absolutely everything we do, how we live our life, what we put in & on our body, our attitude & relationships, where we live, all of it.

Which is why fertility preparation isn’t really about doing more, it’s about creating conditions the body can respond to, it can feel safe, nourished and supported by the conditions you’re creating for your body & your fertility health.

I’ve put together a free fertility preparation food guide with some of the foods I’m focusing on right now as a natural fertility specialist on my own fertility journey.

Bloodwork can tell you what’s happening in a moment.

Your cycle can tell you what’s happening over time.

That’s why I don’t just look at test results.

I look at patterns.

Because your body is often communicating long before a test flags a problem.

The women who build the deepest trust in their fertility learn how to understand those patterns.

Self-knowledge is power.

That’s exactly what we’ll be exploring inside Fertile Clarity, my free live masterclass happening next week.

Most women tracking their cycle feel like they’re missing something, and they’re right.

They’re collecting data. But no one has taught them to interpret it.

So they have three months of information and still no clarity. They know their temps and mucus patterns, but not what it means.

Here’s what changes when you learn to read your cycle like a diagnostic language instead of just tracking it:

You move from information overload to clarity. From guessing to knowing. From checking an app to trusting your own body.

That is the difference between tracking and understanding.

Comment PATTERN 🌙 below I’ll send you the framework.
