It was great to be back at the Donald Simpson Centre for their quarterly Members Day! 💙

💙 Where It All Began — The Story Behind Cremations Only

Every business has a beginning, and this is ours.

On 12 January 2009, Cremations Only was officially born. Our founder, Krystine, had a simple vision: to create a funeral home that provided families across Brisbane and the Gold Coast with the highest levels of care, dignity and respect — at an affordable price.

Even the name Cremations Only started with Krystine. The photo above shows some of her original handwritten ideas as she worked through different names before settling on the one that has represented us ever since.

What began as an idea in 2009 has grown into the Cremations Only we know today, but the values behind it haven't changed.
