We still have a long way to go 📊💔

We’re at the halfway mark of our August Dignity Drive, and this graph shows where we’re currently at in relation to products collected vs item requests. While every donation so far has made a real impact, we are not yet on track to meet the level of need from our charity partners.

That need is urgent.

Behind every product requested is a woman, girl or person who menstruates who may otherwise go without the basic essentials they need to manage their period with dignity.

Three in five women have struggled to afford period products at some point in their life. This is why menstrual equity is everyone’s business, and why your support matters right now.

If you’re able, please consider donating unopened period products or incontinence aids at Woolworths Supermarkets or participating business collection points nationwide.

An intimate yet sweeping historical drama, PALESTINE 36 was the country’s official submission for the 98th Academy Awards and was included in the Academy shortlist for Best International Feature.

PALESTINE 36 features a cast of esteemed British and Palestinian actors including Jeremy Irons, Hiam Abbass, Kamel El Basha, Yasmine Al Massri, Robert Aramayo, Billy Howle and Karim Daoud Anaya in his screen debut as Yusuf.

Following sold-out screenings at Sydney Film Festival, PALESTINE 36 will come to Australian cinemas on August 27.

📚 Meet the Author - Suzi Evans

Skylight's Country Wellness Connections team is proud to be supporting the upcoming Meet the Author events across the Coorong.

Hosted by Coorong District Council and Coorong Conversations Matter, these free community events feature author and mental wellbeing advocate Suzi Evans, who will share her personal story of grief, resilience and hope.

Each session includes:
☕ Complimentary refreshments
📖 A conversation and audience Q&A
🧠 A "Workbench for the Mind" wellbeing taster session
📚 A free copy of Suzi's book Grief (while stocks last), with an opportunity for book signing.

If you've experienced loss, supported someone through a difficult time, or simply value connection and wellbeing, these events are for you.

Our Country Wellness Connections team will be there and can provide ongoing support following the events for those who would benefit.
