Today we celebrate all the amazing Mother's in our lives. We celebrate your strength, love and dedication. Remember to practice self-care and prioritise your wellbeing, not just today but every day ✨
Mother’s Day can be quite an emotional day. For some it is a day of love and celebration, for others it is a day of grief, loss or complicated feelings.
If this day feels heavy, here are a few gentle reminders:
❤️Acknowledge Your Emotions
Whether it’s sadness, anger, numbness or even guilt for feeling “nothing.” Your emotions are valid. Feeling is part of healing.
❤️Encourage Self-Compassion
It’s okay to say no to certain events, set boundaries, or take some personal/quiet time. Self-compassion is vital during emotionally tough times.
❤️ Redefine the Day
You don’t have to follow traditions. You might use it to honour someone special, reflect and celebrate your strength or simply focus on self-care.
❤️ Seek Support
Grief isn’t linear and tough days don’t mean you’re going backwards. If you’re struggling, talk to a friend, join a support group or connect with a counsellor. You don’t have to carry it alone.
You’re not alone. Whatever this day brings for you, it is valid. 💕
