Initially trained as a Sports/Physiotherapist in Germany, he holds a postgraduate Doctorate in Osteopathy, B.Sc. Anatomy/Neuroscience, and certificates in ‘Vestibular Rehabilitation’ and ‘Concussion Management’. His passion over the last 15 years has been in the field of ‘Vestibular Rehabilitation’ and ‘Concussion Management’. He has lectured at universities and presented at Conferences and CPD seminars for over 25 years.

This patient presented to the clinic yesterday with the complaint of vertigo. A portion of the oculomotor exam is shown in the video below. A gaze-evoked nystagmus (GEN) with a rebound is visible, indicating that her vertigo has a central cause.

Even in those with presbyvestibulopathy, treatment of comorbidities can improve symptoms and function.
