A message from Gopali to the Free Flow community ❤️

The time has come for me to step away from running Free Flow so I can dedicate some time to healing and give more love and attention to the continued evolution of my Ayurvedic practice.

Stepping into this role 3.5 years ago has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.

I’ve been challenged, inspired, and deeply moved. My heart has cracked open through countless beautiful moments, meaningful connections, and the privilege of watching so many incredible souls become part of this community. I have grown so much through this journey, and above all else, I’ve had the honour of being part of something truly special.

Free Flow has always been so much more than a yoga studio. It is a safe, inclusive, and magical space. A place where people can arrive exactly as they are, reconnect with themselves, and feel a sense of belonging.

While I may have held the role of owner, Free Flow has never truly belonged to one person. It has been shaped, nurtured, and brought to life by every teacher, student, friend, and supporter who has walked through its doors. This community is the heart and soul of Free Flow, and I am endlessly grateful to have been part of it.

To every person who has shared in this journey—thank you. I cannot fully express how much your support has meant to me. The encouragement, the conversations, the kindness, the trust, and the love you've shared, especially during challenging times, have carried me more than you know.

Running Free Flow has been an incredible gift, and while this decision comes with mixed emotions, I feel a deep sense of peace knowing it is time for the studio's next chapter.

I’m also so happy to share that from 1 July, Free Flow will be lovingly passed into the hands of the beautiful Marli.

💙✨ Brave to Be Me: Finding My Voice & Sharing My Gifts - A beautiful Chakradance Kids workshop for children aged 3-6 years.

Through movement, music, storytelling, art,m and mindfulness, children will explore confidence, self expression and the courage to share their unique gifts with the world.

Together we'll journey with Tom, a little boy who feels different from the other children, and discover that there are many wonderful ways to communicate, connect, and be ourselves.

Week 3 of our Winter Warmer Challenge ❄️🧡
This week we are sitting with two really beautiful practices: Tapas + Svadhyaya

Tapas means to burn, it is that steady inner fire. The part of you that keeps showing up, even when it’s cold, life is full, or the mat feels like the last place you want to be.

Svadhyaya is the practice of turning inward. Of observing, noticing, and getting curious about what’s happening within you as you move, breathe and live your practice.

Winter has a way of stripping things back. Tapas and Svadhyaya remind us that growth doesn’t have to be loud or intense. It can be simple, steady and honest.

Just keep showing up. That is the practice.

This week, in our practice we are exploring Aparigraha (non grasping) and Santosha (contentment).
You may like to consider in your practice:
What can I let go of?

Remember, the Winter Warmer Challenge isn't about perfection, it's about showing up, creating consistency and deepening your connection to your practice both on and off the mat.

We are now into Week 2 of our Winter Warmer Challenge and this week we are exploring two beautiful yogic philosophies:

Aparigraha (non grasping) and Santosha (contentment).

Aparigraha encourages us to release attachment, whether it's to outcomes, expectations, possessions, or even old stories about ourselves.

Santosha invites us to cultivate contentment, not because everything is perfect, but because we can choose gratitude and presence in this moment.

As the weather cools and life invites us inward, these teachings offer a powerful reminder to let go of what we don't need to hold onto and find appreciation for what is already here.
