11 years post spinal cord injury. Is it ever too late?
At Elevate Neuro Rehab we've been very interested in the research on transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation (tSCS), and putting it into practice.
This woman is 11 years post non-traumatic spinal cord injury. Flaccid right hand. No voluntary finger flexion or functional grasp since her injury.
Then: 3 weeks. 2 hours per day. 4 days per week. Cervical tSCS + FES to hand muscles + robotic glove.
The video shows the same task on Day 3 and Day 15.
