🪶 Sometimes I can't help but notice the chemicals around us wherever I go.
Yesterday, as I walked through the supermarket, my trolley was filled with fresh fruit, vegetables, and nuts. Yet as I looked down the surrounding aisles, I couldn't help but reflect on how many processed foods contain ingredients and additives that many people have never heard of, let alone understand.
Names like Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Benzoate, Sodium Sulfite, BHA, BHT, Sodium Nitrate, CMC, MSG, artificial sweeteners, hydrogenated oils, artificial colours, and genetically modified ingredients have become a normal part of modern food production.
While research and opinions vary on some of these ingredients, many people report symptoms such as headaches, digestive discomfort, skin irritations, inflammation, fatigue, brain fog, allergies, and other health challenges that may be influenced by what they consume every day.
The reality is that our bodies were designed to recognise and process natural foods. The more we move towards whole, fresh foods, the more we support our body's ability to function, repair, and heal.
And it's not just food. We are exposed to chemical stress through household cleaners, personal care products, medications, environmental pollutants, and countless other sources throughout our daily lives.
At White Feather Healings 🪶, we talk about three primary stressors that impact the nervous system:
✨ Physical Stress ✨ Emotional Stress ✨ Chemical Stress
When chemical stress accumulates over time, the body may adapt and compensate until it can no longer do so efficiently. This can contribute to tension, discomfort, and nervous system overwhelm.
Through Spinal Flow Technique, we work to support the body's natural healing intelligence by helping release stored stress and spinal blockages that may be affecting the nervous system.
If you've been following White Feather Healings 🪶, you'll know that chemical stress is often associated with blockages in the C3-C7 cervical spine and the L1-L5 lumbar spine.
Your body is constantly communicating with you.
Sometimes symptoms are not the problem — they're the message.
