🌺 A little Crinum update… 🌺

After three years of opening the doors to Crinum Spa Retreat, I’ve made the decision to update my treatment prices from 1 November 2026.

For the past three years, my prices have remained the same, including GST. During that time, the cost of products, laundry, utilities, insurance, equipment and all the little things that keep Crinum running have continued to rise.

I’ve tried very hard to keep my treatments affordable while still creating the beautiful little escape you come to Crinum for. 🌴

But it’s time for my prices to catch up.

From 1 November, you’ll see some changes across the treatment menu, with most treatments increasing by around $15–$30. My new prices have been carefully set so I can continue providing the same quality products, beautiful treatments and little extras that make your visit feel like more than just a massage.

And because I know everyone loves a little heads-up… 👀

💛 Any existing bookings will remain at the price originally booked.
💛 Gift vouchers already purchased will be honoured at their original value.
💛 The new prices will apply to bookings made from 1 November 2026.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported my little homegrown spa over the past couple of years. What started as an idea inspired by a childhood cattle property called Crinum has grown into something I genuinely love.

Thank you for continuing to choose this little patch of tropical escape in Narangba. 🌺

Escape the suburbs. Exhale. Stay awhile.

🎉✨ 100 FIVE-STAR GOOGLE REVIEWS! ✨🎉

Pinch me! 🥹💛

Crinum Spa Retreat has officially reached 100 five-star Google reviews, and I honestly couldn’t be happier!

As a small, home-based day spa, every booking, every kind word, every recommendation and every review means so much to me. This little dream I’ve poured my heart into has grown into something really special, and I feel incredibly lucky to have such wonderful clients supporting me along the way.

Thank you for trusting me with your time, your relaxation and your much-needed moments of escape. Whether you’ve visited once or you’re a regular on my treatment table, I’m so grateful you’re part of the Crinum family. 🌺

Here’s to helping many more people switch off, unwind and enjoy a little slice of paradise, right here in Narangba. 🥂

100 reviews. 100 reasons to smile. And a very grateful spa owner. 💛

PS: if you haven’t left a review yet, please do, because they help me be more visible on Google and also make me a more credible and trusted service. ☺️

🐍 Well… that was a first!

After more than 10 years of doing mobile massage, I thought I’d probably experienced most things that could happen on the way to a client.

Apparently not.

Last night I arrived at a client’s house, wandered towards the front door in my usual thongs, and stood on something that felt a little… cylindrical.

My brain briefly went:

“Surely that wasn’t a snake?”

A few steps later I stopped, turned around and discovered that yes…

Yes, it absolutely was. 😳

Cue me backing myself into the entryway, putting my massage table between myself and the snake and frantically messaging my client that I was, in fact, trapped by a snake.

Thankfully, my lovely client came to my rescue, armed with a rather unexpected weapon, and opened the door to let me in.

Now, I grew up on a cattle farm in Central Queensland, so snakes aren’t exactly foreign territory to me.

But in all my years of living around them, this was the first time I’ve actually stood on one.

And strangely enough, it was the most relaxed snake in Queensland.

No striking.
No dramatic arcing.
No angry snake performance.

Just a very chill snake quietly going about its evening while I had a minor existential crisis beside it. 😂

It still took about 20 minutes for my heart rate to settle down!

I think I’ll be paying slightly more attention to where I put my feet from now on. 🐍😂

Another day, another story from the life of a massage therapist!

🤢 Seasickness on the boat ✔️ Unfortunately 😂

Had the best weekend away in Perth and finally ticked “selfie with a quokka” off the bucket list! These ridiculously cute little creatures are somehow even more adorable in person and definitely made up for feeling like I was going to feed the fish on the trip over. 😂

Back at Crinum Spa Retreat and ready to swap quokka cuddles for warm towels, good smells and pampering you lovely people. 💆‍♀️🌺

See you in the spa! 💕

The room where…

You walk in carrying the weight of the week.

You walk out wondering why you didn’t book this sooner. 😂

This is where the phones go quiet, the lights go low, the muscles finally unclench and someone else gets to worry about things for a while.

✨ Remedial massage
✨ Relaxation massage
✨ Hot stones
✨ Fijian poultice
✨ Facials & spa treatments
✨ Pregnancy treatments

Basically, this room exists for one very important reason:

You. Need. A. Break.

And if your body has been sending increasingly aggressive emails requesting one… this is your sign. 😂

One thing running has taught me is that our bodies are incredibly clever.

When we look after them with movement, recovery, sleep and regular massage, they generally look after us in return.

Recovery isn’t a luxury.

It’s part of staying healthy.

Whether you’re training for a marathon or simply keeping up with work and family life, your body deserves some care too.

What’s your favourite way to recharge?

Some gifts get used once.

Some get put in a cupboard.

A massage is something people actually remember.

Whether it’s a birthday, thank you, baby shower or “you deserve this”, a Crinum Spa Retreat gift voucher gives someone permission to slow down.

If you’re stuck wondering what to buy, this might be exactly what they’re hoping for.

Massage Myth:

“If it hurts, it’s working.”

Actually…not true.

A good remedial massage isn’t about seeing how much pain you can tolerate.

The right pressure is enough to encourage muscles to relax without making your body tense up in defence.

Every person is different, which is why I always tailor each treatment to your comfort level.

Communication during your massage is encouraged. You’re never “being difficult” by asking for more or less pressure.

Have you ever wondered why your skin feels amazing after a facial…and then goes back to normal a week later?

Home care matters.

Using professional skincare consistently between treatments helps maintain your results for much longer.

One of my favourite little indulgences in the clinic right now is our Lip Polish, Balm & Sleeping Masque Trio 💋

Normally $44, now on special in spa for $39.

This gorgeous trio gives your lips everything they need:
✨ Buff away dry, flaky skin with the Coconut Sugar Lip Polish
✨ Deeply repair overnight with the Coconut Lip Sleeping Masque
✨ Nourish and protect daily with the Pina Colada Lip Balm

The result? Soft, smooth, supple lips with natural-looking volume and a beautiful boost of hydration.

If your lips have been feeling dry or neglected (especially with the weather changing), this is such a simple way to bring them back to life.

If you’re unsure what products are right for you, just ask at your next appointment — I’m always happy to help.
