🩸 Could You Be at Risk of Type 2 Diabetes?
Type 2 diabetes often develops gradually, and many people don’t realise they have it.
You may be at increased risk if you:
• Have a family history of diabetes
• Are carrying extra weight
• Have high blood pressure
• Have had gestational diabetes
• Are physically inactive
Symptoms can include increased thirst, frequent urination, fatigue and blurred vision—but some people have no symptoms at all.
If you’re concerned about your risk, speak with your GP. Early diagnosis and treatment can make a significant difference to your long-term health.
